The timeline is where most of the work for your video gets done. You can add video and audio clips, as well as images, text, and artwork to your project in the order you want them to appear. You can easily move, copy, and paste clips and preview the results instantly. You can create and use multiple tracks to add background music, sound effects, voiceovers or text-to-speech audio files.
Cropping means removing parts of a video clip that you don't want. For example you can remove the introduction from a clip and replace it with your own, or remove an unnecessary part from the middle of a clip. You'll find this comes in handy when working with clips from YouTube, importing your own videos or a video with many different clips added together. You can even edit out any mistakes you might make.
The media library contains all of the videos, images, and sounds available to use for your projects. This includes your own files that you upload as well as a collection of pre-made videos, music, sound effects, and images that Video Wave already has that you can use for free. You can also add new clips to your own My Media library within the app that is unique to your username and account.
Filters and elements let you enhance your movies by adding titles with text, shapes, pictures, and drawings. You can also zoom into specific parts of a clip to draw focus or eliminate black bars around your video. For the audio of the clips, you can adjust the levels and fade it in and out.
Use professionally created slideshow templates in a variety of colors to create your own slideshow presentations. Each template features over twenty different slides you can customize to fit your exact needs. You can delete any slides you do not want or copy and paste to add new slides to your project.
Now that your project is finished and you like the way everything looks in the preview window, you’re ready to create the movie file you can save to your PC. You can upload this file to all of the popular video sharing and social media sites using the Step #3 and Step #4 apps within Video Wave.
Let’s take everything we've learned and make a video from start to finish. We'll work with clips in the library, arranging and cropping and putting them together, add a title filter, and finally a text to speech voiceover. Then we'll create our video, download it, and check out the results!
